Howe performed a fire stand pipe test at the Wells Fargo building (now the RH Johnson Plaza) in downtown Sioux Falls on the morning of Saturday, Sept. 19. The test involved using a fire engine to flow approximately 1,200 gallons per minute of pressurized water up through the building’s internal fire standpipe system and off the roof. This kind of test is performed to ensure the operational integrity and performance of the life safety system in a high-rise building.
Our employees involved: Mark Lietha and Eduard Onishchuck.
And we’d like to thank the Sioux Falls Fire Rescue for their assistance in performing the test.
